Five fabulous things that happened at HBS this week!

1. Run Club has a fabulous group of students running each week! Thank you Mrs. Pascut, Carrol, Gibson and out jr. high helpers for volunteering to run this club!

2. Grade 8 health is working on healthy sleep habits with Mr. Groff.

On Fridays Jr high students have 40 minutes of Personal Learning Time (PLT). Staff open academic, creative, active, social & quiet spaces for students to choose from. Friday Mrs. Andruzsko hosted the creative space in the library for students to paint.

Math time! We are currently learning all about place value. We are using digiblocks (the teal blocks in the picture) to help us see patterns and groups of ten.

Throughout the week of September 25-29, students across PWPSD will reflect on the legacy of residential schools through Orange Shirt Day events.

Back to school BBQ success! Thank you to Participarent for donating ALL the food tonight!

Jr high students have a M/W choice option and a Tu/Th fine arts option. This term on M/W students had a choice of Robotics with Ms. Baker, Athletic Enrichment Volleyball with Miss Odenbach, Paleontology with Mr. Wright or Athletic Enrichment Baseball with Mr. Dommer.

HBS run club was well represented at the Roots & Ruts run this weekend.
