Math Fact Fluency

Fact fluency involves both the ability to quickly and accurately retrieve and use math facts efficiently. Having recall of facts is in no way a demonstration of comprehensive mathematical knowledge but is a necessary skill
that frees up working memory to apply that knowledge in a variety of situations. The acquisition of these facts with speed and accuracy enables students to engage in more challenging math tasks.

Grade 6 used flash cards to practice their fact fluency, while grade 3 play a game that involved dice and a whiteboard.
